A wanderlust soul coupled with the desire to break free of the corporate jungle and do something to make a difference to others, led Fiona Chadwick to Nepal in 2002. She spent 6 months living and working as a volunteer teacher, forming a close affinity with the country and its people.

Fiona was captivated by the beauty, colour and quality of the hand crafted products made by fair trade and cottage craft producers and was deeply moved by the courage and resilience of the women artisans.

Witnessing this courage and work ethic inspired Fiona to find the courage within herself to follow a lifelong dream of becoming a designer/entrepreneur, whilst simultaneously supporting and contributing to the wellbeing and empowerment of women from under-privileged backgrounds.

Her love for and connection to Nepal and its women inspires Fiona year after year to design and create products that she hopes will ignite the imagination of children and the young at heart.
