Palo Santo Artisinal Incense Sticks
Artisanal palo santo and breu resin blend incense sticks.
Palo Santo comes from the Bursera Graveolens tree. Indigenous to the Andes, this tree produces wood with aromatic hypoallergenic medicinal resin that grows in concentration as the tree ages.
B. Graveolens lives for 40 to 90 years; after tree death, the wood matures for 4 to 10 more years before it is consecrated as sacred wood (palo santo).
Harvested from naturally fallen trees, Palo Santo wood has a haunting sweet and woody aroma when burnt and is valued for its healing and spiritual properties by the communities in its indigenous region.
Breu resin is extracted from the Almacega tree of the Amazon rainforest and is used in healing rituals to ward off dark spirits and invite good energy. It is also used in Ayahuasca brewing ceremonies.
Box contains 9 incense sticks of palo santo wood in natural plant resin; each incense stick has an approximate burn time of 40 minutes.
